I love to find the high levels of emotional connections that a product could create with its users.
As an Italian/Colombian designer, I first entered the Industrial Design arena by completing my University Degree in Industrial and Product Design at the ISIA University in Rome, Italy.
Following this, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Digital Administration and Social Innovation Center (DASIC) at the Link Campus University of Rome, where I had the opportunity to work in and direct projects focused on innovation and cultural heritage. Our main aim was to research the Design Paradigms behind the digital transformation and manipulation of cultural heritage (landmarks, museums, Roman sites and so on) and how new technologies could enhance the visitors’ experience.
During my experience as Assistant Researcher I had the opportunity to work as a freelancer in various agencies which gave me a wealth of experience in a commercial capacity.
My next challenge was to learn English fluently and I instantly fell in love with Brighton upon moving here. My career in England began at Brighton Palace Pier within the customer service industry and it became quickly apparent to me through consistent customer engagement that small changes could make a big difference within the organisation. After a thorough engagement analysis, I presented a project to the management team and as a result I have progressed to become a Digital Consultant and Customer Experience Designer.
My main responsibility is now to continuously develop the customer experience through the Pier’s presentation of its digital and physical environment.
